Requirements
Ireland is NOT part of Schengen. Please check http://www.inis.gov.ie/en/INIS/Pages/check-irish-visa to check if you need a visa.
Please note that if you do need a visa, you might be eligible to apply for the Irish Short stay conference/event visa.
Make sure to read the above visa pages carefully before making your application; the EuroPython organisers are not equipped to give any visa advice. If you do require a visa to travel to Ireland, it is advisable to submit your visa application at least 8 weeks before your planned travel date.
Invitation letters
If you require a visa, you may apply for an invitation letter from the EuroPython Society by filling in the form:
The letter will then be provided to you by email.
Please note that we only issue visa invitation to confirmed attendees. So we kindly ask you to first purchase the ticket, before filling in the Visa Invitation Letter Form. If your company purchased the ticket on your behalf, please ask them to send you the Invoice Number to proceed.
If your visa is unsuccessful, you have until 13 July 24:00 CEST to request for a refund, by writing to refunds@europython.eu
